ABOUT
Sedric Lanard is an Internationally renowned professional hair designer and makeup artist with over two decades experience in the beauty industry and is a licensed master cosmetologist and instructor in State of Georgia and District of Columbia.

Sedric has a B.A. Degree in Biology and Philosophy from Howard University and received his professional cosmetology license from Bennett Career Institute in Washington, D.C. in 1998. Sedric if fluent in both English and French and uses his bilingual abilities to educate across cultures. After developing his styling skills as an apprentice, he studied in Paris at the distinguished La Sorbonne, the world’s oldest university and the first African-American to win the Grand Cup Afro category Mondail Coiffure 1999 in Paris, France. Additional studies include Richmond College in London, England.

Today, Sedric has emerged from behind the chair and has rapidly developed a reputation as a master cosmetology instructor who travels and educates globally between New York, Atlanta, London and Paris. A natural creator of beauty and art, Sedric’s work can be seen in top fashion magazines both domestically and abroad. He has collaborated with renowned photographers

Joel de Las Heras Beán of Spain and Dorah from Galerie Dorah of Paris, France. He has trained some of the most well recognized stylists worldwide and his clientele includes distinguished professionals, noteworthy celebrities and entertainers ranging from Quincy Jones to Melanie Fiona. Sedric’s gratification comes from inspiring, educating and transforming others through his artistic talents. Sedric is the founder of Global Hair 4U a company specializing in hair extensions and wigs. Global Hair 4U is a hair extension and wig company specializing in 100% natural human hair providing various international textures of hair. Specializing in custom wigs for cancer survivors, alopecia and burn victims, Global Hair 4U is proud to train at The American Cancer Society under the look good feel good program to better serve their clients.

EDUCATION
Sedric Lanard International was founded as an institute of higher education for professional stylists. As a seasoned platform artists and educator, Sedric’s core curriculum covers the foundations of cosmetology as the basis for longevity and success as a professional stylist. Classroom education focuses on cutting, color, tools and industry trends.
